This is the distinctive purpose of the series of workshops. Life is enriched and remains inspired with a balance of leisure and play.
The annual series of (six) workshops introduce elements of yogic philosophy, the scientific value and benefits of meditation for wellbeing and creativity for a balanced lifestyle. The guided yoga practice improves breathing techniques for relaxation (pranayama), gentle physical movement (asanas), creative exercises (Vriddhi) and inspirational readings, to attain BodyMindSoul equilibrium and mindfulness for modern life.The workshops are an immersive embodiment of themes in the yogic tradition of equanimity, evenness, steadiness. Yoga and the way of mindfulness is the attainment of inner calm with time on the mat and beyond, in a universal flow of positive energy and sense of kindness, for oneself and others.

Each workshop offers a particular theme, as the focused intention within the six-week immersion, connecting the traditional meaning of a yogic concepts in a modern context.

Samudra’s Creative Signature is a blend of yoga practices, to bring balance in body, mind and spirit.
Our practice creates space for contemplation and inspiration.
Throughout the workshops and continuing practical classes, participants gather a sense of balance in the movement of the body and breath, the steady seat of mindfulness, spaciousness of being, shifts in energy, and a deep sense of self-compassion, kindness and harmony.
The series brings together elements of Yoga and Ayurvedic Philosophy, Yoga Nidra pranayama for deep relaxation and Vinyasa classes with kindness to ones self at the heart of the practice.

The guided classes, teachings and exercises offer a deep familiarity with yogic techniques, pranayama (breathing) asanas (postures) pratyahara (meditation) and creative practices, with the aim to continue a ‘self-guided’ routine over the continuing weeks.
A weekly two-hour morning class on Thursdays, for five consecutive weeks, follows the introduction and consolidates the theme of the workshops intention.
Participants are encouraged to include one or two ‘self-guided’ practices a week; taking a little time for stillness and breathing.

Not at all, our yoga programmes are inclusive and adapted so everyone can participate and enjoy the benefits in beginning or continuing their practice.

For online modes, it's good to have a quiet space, laptop and reliable internet connection, a yoga mat, one or two blocks, a strap, cushion for seated postures and a blanket.
‘Community gatherings’ will be offered from different studio locations through the year, so will have all the props, though everyone is welcome to bring their own yoga mat if preferred. The gatherings will be on our website when available.
For business clients, the brief will outline requirements, however, most things are often available in the workplace and we may bring along some creative props. That said, one of the most fun elements is when the team designs the experience and collaborates to put it together. -
The workshop series are online and there will be in person ‘community gatherings’ in different studio locations as mentioned above.
